£850 – 5 Day Course
The five day elementary pilot paragliding course is the first flying qualification. Think of it as stage one on the BHPA rating scheme.

We offer paragliding tuition that will allow you to train and fly as safely as possible and to a British Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association (BHPA) level and beyond.
To fly by yourself without the supervision of a school and instructor, you need to complete the Elementary Pilot Certificate (EPC) and the Club Pilot Certificate (CPC) on the Paraglider. This usually takes around 10 days to complete both the EPC and CPC certificates with us.
- For third party insurance purposes there is a mandatory requirement to become a member of the BHPA before you can learn to fly.
- The annual cost of £169 (plus an initial joining fee of £30 in the first year). Membership is arranged on your first day of training (as part of the administration steps).
- The cost for the EPC is £850 this includes full use of our equipment through your course. When you have completed the course you will then take the CPC (Club Pilot) course.
- Once you have achieved the Paragliding Club Pilots Certificate (CPC) you are free to join your local club and fly ‘unsupervised’ while you’re a member of the BHPA and your local club.

THINGS TO KNOW
- We are a UK test centre for all paragliding equipment and sell a wide range of brands, both new and second-hand.
BEFORE YOU BOOK, PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
- You must be in good health, and reasonably fit. Please contact us if you are unsure.
- Choose a date that works for you, we will check availability and send you a confirmation.
- We need to know your weight as we will need to match you to the correct size Paraglider and harness.
- Cancellations occur due to bad weather; if this happens please rebook a new date as soon as possible.
- Our experiences are valid for 1 year from date of issue.
- Vouchers are non-refundable.
- No refunds are available once a course has been booked.
