Guiding Holidays

2012 Holidays will be a max of 10 pilots per week, the reason for this is I can handle 10 with no problem and ultimately we want you to get lots of help while your there getting to be a better pilot! Anymore than 10 and I will struggle to get around to you all.

Deposits

Once you decide when you'd like to come send me an e-mail. We will pencil you in for the days you want and reply by e-mail.

Your place will be secured once the £150 per person is received, bank transfer details by email.
We work on a 'first come...' basis, unfortunately we cannot guarantee an unsecured place for longer than 2 weeks. The rest of the balance is payable 4 weeks before travelling out.

Please let me know when you have made the transfer, we'll confirm by mail. Also it's important to put your name as reference with the payment so it can be easily Identified.

2012 BULGARIA GUIDING HOLIDAY DATES

MAY 19th-26th

MAY 26th - JUNE 2nd

Prices for 2012 are £550 for this you get the following: AIRPORT TRANSFERS-HOTEL "on the basis of two sharing" but you can pay a small supplement if you want your own room? TWO LIFT PASSES PER DAY-MY FLY/GUIDING FOR YOUR STAY.
All you need to do is book your easy jet flights from the details I will put on the forum in January and buy your food!

A typical day starts with everyone meeting at the cafe 1 minute walk from the hotel, we eat and drink and I give a weather briefing. We then walk to the chair lift where I get your lift passes and off we go on our 20 minute chair lift ride to launch. I then check the weather/sky and make sure it's all safe and help everyone rig and get off launch. I will talk to you on radio helping you until each and everyone is happy and then I will launch and come to fly with you all, I am always the last off launch, no one is ever left behind on their own!
We then normally land whenever people want to have lunch and then get ready to go back up for the second flight, this flight if we catch it right can be awesome if were lucky enough to have a great sunset and restitution lift. 2 years ago I was flying at 7:30pm at 8,000 foot above the hotel in silky smooth air.

ACCOMMODATION

Hotel Sopot

For 2012 we will all be using HOTEL SOPOT, I stayed there for the 2011 July weeks and loved it, the rooms are furnished very nice and have air-con, great wet rooms, tv's, wi-fi, great beds, and a perfect view of the mountain and launch, and to cap it all 30 seconds to town.
