The Good News:-

And a month later
The Bad News:-

Regards,
John
PS BTW North Hill refers to North Hill Airfield (Dunkeswell) not the HG/PG launch at North Hill Minehead.

fortunately the pilot survived with a minor injury & no doubt his pride in tatters but with the total loss of his sailplane.
A lesson for those who engage on coastal runs to be mindful of conditions & most importantly safe landing options regardless of the 'walk out'!
safe flying
