Since we have 36 channels to operate on, it’s often the case where the channel our set is on is in use. We sometimes carry additional crystals but even those channels could be in use and so again we have to wait for other pilots to land and clear the board before you can get in the air. Alternatively you could always carry a complete set of transmitter and receiver crystals but that is a very expensive option. Now there is an easier way !

Check the frequency management system in use at your local club, power on the 2720, check to see what channel it is set to, press Yes to accept the channel and Transmit or No to change channel settings. Once you have selected your frequency on your X2720, bring your transmitter close, touch your R70S or RS77S ScanSelect receiver’s “scan” button, and it’ll tune to your transmitter channel automatically.

The X2720 is compatible with most previous JR receivers – SPCM and PPM – so it won’t make your existing equipment obsolete. (This model no longer supports the older ZPCM Modulation)

As you can see in the large photo of the X2720 transmitter, its layout and display is similar to the 2610 but with more details. This means it makes programming easier to comprehend and even easier to execute.
