German medium bomber. Developed in 1936 as a medium bomber, the Ju88 production total reached 15,000 units. The German Luftwaffe used it as a bomber, reconnaissance plane, night-fighter and destroyer.
This famous multi-purpose aircraft was powered by two Junkers Jumo 211 J engines of 1420 PS (1050 kW). Both the A-4 bomber, as well as the D-1 long-range reconnaissance plane, experienced many successful operations.
